Catalina Island Conservancy - The Trailhead Visitor Center

$13 million capital project to build the “Trailhead”, a 9,000+ square foot visitor’s center with educational interpretation that is well positioned to access the Island’s one million annual visitors. An attractive, multi-level building featuring patios, roof decks, a gallery, mission-related retail and a small café. Incorporating sustainable design, this became the first LEED certified building on Catalina Island.
